Pros

Working at Financial.com has been a truly positive experience. One of the standout aspects is the team — my colleagues are not only professional but also incredibly supportive, making collaboration smooth and enjoyable. The management and company authorities consistently demonstrate a strong commitment to employee development. They actively encourage learning and provide ample opportunities to acquire new skills, which has significantly contributed to my professional growth. Each day brings a new opportunity to learn something valuable, and the company culture strongly promotes continuous improvement. I’ve also learned the importance of approaching every task with professionalism and punctuality, which has had a lasting impact on my work ethic. Overall, Financial.com fosters a supportive and growth-oriented environment, making it a great place to build a solid career foundation.

Cons

Been working for a while in FDC and at this point there hasn't been a single cons to be mentioned.

Pros

+Technically competent +Well-developed internal processes +Monthly staff meetings +Announcements of salary increases at least to compensate for inflation +Meat like water from the tap (if you like it...)

Cons

I remember personal Cons, financial.com was my worst employer up to this date, what I mean by that: I was severely humiliated here in a non-work-related context during a staff appraisal, probably to amuse my line manager. My team also thought it was funny and had a good laugh about it. I was even threatened with dismissal for non objective reasons, which is totally against German labour law! When i fell ill and was recognized as severely disabled after my time at financial.com, they fired me, violating my protection against dismissal. Nothing stood in the way of sacking me from an economic point of view, but there was a social component missing. The HR department emphasized in the exit talk that there would be a separation of powers and that they would have been the right contact person to resolve the matter. However, there is no ‘real’ employee representation, i.e. no works council and no representative body for severely disabled employees. Anyone who has characteristics, behaviours, beliefs, etc. that are not recognized in their eyes should be warned, and that is what I am doing! The arbitrarily humiliating line manager is still working there and received no consequences...

Toxic Kochi Management

Pros

The company has a great global reputation. German management seems fair and genuinely focused on employee welfare. Some talented individuals still remain, trying to work in good faith.

Cons

Unfortunately, the Kochi management team has created a highly toxic, fear-driven work environment that is affecting the mental peace and job security of employees. Speaking up about issues leads to immediate targeting, harassment, and in some cases, sudden termination. There is a history of employees being pushed out systematically, especially those who don't align with certain individuals' personal preferences. There is one individual in particular who holds disproportionate influence over the team. Anyone working closely under this person often ends up leaving within two years — a clear, well-known pattern within the organization. Even raising concerns anonymously — such as here on Glassdoor — leads to cyber monitoring, intimidation, and internal witch hunts to find out "who dared to speak." This atmosphere of fear is making it impossible to work with peace of mind.
