Scaling is just an excuse for a company that has become a total mess while leadership remains unaware. The product roadmap is nothing more than a list of unrealistic, imposed deadlines where leads and managers have no say, and priorities shift every other week. This constant churn leads to massive technical debt and overwork, yet the blame is always placed on the teams doing the work. It is a mystery how the company expects to integrate acquisitions into such a broken foundation full of knowledge silos and endless incidents. Management acknowledges the low NPS but takes no actual action, ignoring that tenured employees are the ones giving the lowest scores and leaving while roles go unreplaced. Psychological safety is non-existent; people are fired here and there with no warning other than a message in the team updates channel, leaving everyone wondering who is next.
