Pros

Most people will start their "career" with Focus Pointe Global as a recruiter. You will make several calls a night to sign people up for focus groups. You get to select your own schedule. It's only part time in this entry level position, and you need to make 20 hours and no more than 28. The pay is miserable, but do well enough and you may be offered a full time position. Sadly, this is the only way to get a raise. My last position was in the survey programming department that was overworked, abused, and generally left to sink in poor morale from an absent manager and lack of incentives.

Cons

As stated, there are no raises. In the many years, I was there, the only way to get a raise was to move up via promotion, or via moving to a different department. Direct supervisors were generally well natured and supportive; however, anyone from the ED level on up was truly miserable to deal with or work with. There was a closed-door policy with all of them, and they never talked to you so much as regard you with contempt. I saw great ideas squashed. I saw people talked down to on a consistent basis. Goals were never clear nor quantified. You were simply a replaceable piece in the machine that was never appreciated or rewarded. The benefits are terrible. Morale is low. Management is unhelpful and punitive. Once the COVID-19 crisis hit, they were slow to respond. Then, announced layoffs despite touting strong profits earlier in the day via mass email.
