Talented team but low morale and constant layoffs

Pros

Product design team was tight knit and extremely talented. The work was interesting enough to somewhat enjoy sticking around.

Cons

There is no trust from within the company. Employee morale is extremely low. Management does not believe in investing from within and growing skills of employees. Work is dictated from top down, and there is no roadmap, just a loose idea of what you’re working towards. Constant layoffs. Laid off a ton of great designers recently.

the only pro is you learn about a new industry and salary is good

Cons

1)favoritisim, employees takes multiple vacation but such employees will be awarded with promotion and salary hikes. the team is horrible, laid off all talented and good candidates and replaced them with employees who do not have any understanding of the process

So many layoffs.. basically every eng manager got fired within the span on a month. No team morale. Expected to work weekends.
