Pros

Taken over by a tech sales giant and salary is reasonable with sufficient benefit.

Cons

Lots of politics, management are at loss diving into cloud business line. It is a sales company driven by a strong sales team who can bluff and sell a lot of things that actually does not exist.

-- First years get a whirlwind trip to Oktoberfest. yes THE Oktoberfest. You may also be lucky enough to get onboarded in Europe. -- Bagel breakfast every Friday -- Many opportunities to connect with colleagues internationally. Skype (with voice and video) is used heavily, as are other conferencing technologies.

Cons

-- Open concept seating. Frequent desk moves. -- The 3rd floor and the 4th floor don't talk much to each other. -- Some trips are too short to compensate for the jet lag. -- Agile methodology = numerous useless meetings -- If you start struggling, you are doomed. If you get served with a Development Plan, you are definitely on your way out.

Good people, some travel, nice product, cool office and good perks.

Cons

If you are a bootlicker this is the right place for you. They love it! Forget technical and soft skills. It is just about who is your boss and how much you bajulate him. Run away from Professional Services. Worst place in the company. You will be invisible with lower pays. Managers are the worst. They reserve the best for their inner cycle. R&D is a little bit better on the management side but still very bad. At least on R&D you will get nice projects and learn something.
