      Sink or swim environment. You’ll learn a lot in a short period of time

      Cons

      Frat star leadership, very little room to grow within the organization. You can get paid more by the 20 other private lenders in the space once you know your stuff

      Great exposure to real estate/finance industry as well as experienced real estate investors. Ability to understand how to structure and operate deals as a lender and a borrower. Supportive team and good earning potential beyond a base salary.

      Cons

      Building a book of business can take time and it is a competitive industry across the board.
