Pros

If you like gossip, there's plenty of it! Just try and listen for when you back is turned.

Cons

Never has the difference between a manager and a leader been more clear. The MD likes to think of himself as a suave, charismatic top tier recruiter. Dishing out recruitment advice to his underlings and them gobbling it up gratefully. As far as I can tell, the only thing that qualified him for the job of MD was the fact he married the CEO. Take a look at the photos from any night out at i2i and you can immediately see what makes you successful there. Being young and pretty. As others have said, I've got not a bad word to say about the CEO, a truly talented recruiter who built the business up from scratch. It's a true shame that she's entrusted the running of the day to day of the business to someone clearly unsuited to the position. Others have said that the MD 'couldn't lead a horse to water' and they couldn't be more right. What he can do however, is decide one day that you're his next target, and arbitrarily call you into his office to destroy your confidence and prop up his own. Toe the line and do EXACTLY what he tells you to do, no matter how blatantly incorrect or nonsensical, and you'll do great there! But if you decide you'd rather not call a company every single day until they specifically instruct you to never call again, you'll be treated to 1:1 meetings with incredulous hand waving and exasperated sighs. You will be sold the dream at interview. Told that the team is what makes i2i great, and that they're a family. And that isn't wrong! Nothing brings a team together more than a shared hatred of management. If your personality is slightly different, if you talk too much, talk too little, don't like the right thing, or just don't think exactly the same as the dictatorial management, then you may as well not even try, as they will let you go in your first week without even a thought or second chance. So if you're thinking about joining i2i, don't! Look at their LinkedIn, look how many people have started and left in the last year alone, and realise that THAT many people is simply the sign of a sinking ship.

Pros

The main consultants are all lovely and the office is really nice.

Cons

After seeing the recent reviews I wanted to share my experience at i2i. There is a terrible hiring and firing culture, staff don’t feel appreciated. There are no benefits and no flexibility. MD picks and chooses his favourites and can be really nasty. Also it’s true that if you are not young and pretty you will basically be forced out the door.

Thanks for dropping your unfiltered thoughts. Your colourful commentary about our so-called "terrible" culture, lack of appreciation, and my apparent knack for being "nasty" didn't go unnoticed. Your advice on not hitting you with some generic response is duly noted. So, here's my not-so-wishy-washy response: We're working hard to recover from the devastation of your departure.

Pros

The team, or should I say the core of the team. Minus the MD and CEO, who have a very different opinion on how a 'Company' should work.

Cons

Where to start?? - If you're young and pretty you'll fit in a treat! - Cut throat approach, If you don't fit the 'i2i brand' you may as well walk out before you are told you are no longer required. - Try to soften the approach by treating you to the occasional dominoes. - MD and CEO having difference of opinions of how you should approach different scenarios.
