Pros

some really creative folks here.

Cons

If you have any ideas, don't bother. They're interested in trying the same things and expecting different results. Upper Mangement is EXTREMELY.. ummm- close? 2 out of 3 of them know each other quite intimately. With the exception of the CEO, they're all "playing office". None of them are particularly qualified for their roles, but again, THEY ARE VERY CLOSE. Many of the core staff are actively seeking their exit plan, as the management structure is toxic and incestuous.

Pros

Fun product and industry, lots of great and interesting employees, major player in an emerging/niche market. Solid benefits.

Cons

Institutional silos, customer service department is considered a backroom sector that is not recognized or listened to by other departments, low pay, no holidays off, extremely small staff, zero recognition.

Thank you for your feedback. We will be first to acknowledge that our company is not perfect, we can certainly improve in many regards as the growth of our company presents new challenges. iCanvas has taken many initiatives in 2017 and 2018 to improve communication between departments. These initiatives include bi-weekly all employee lunches, Fun Committee events, Quarterly CEO meetings and Q&A, as well as many other cross-departmental projects aimed at improving communication. Customer Service Department like every other department is recognized by our CEO during quarterly meetings, Customer Service Appreciation week, and through raises, bonuses and promotions that successful CS staff have experienced. CS staff have never been asked or required to work the holidays, and our pay is competitive with the industry. Furthermore, for the last 6 years running nearly every employee in good standing has received a raise and an annual bonus, and for the last 2 years a 401k profit sharing contribution for eligible staff.

Pros

I worked 3 years at iCanvas and my experience with them was great. I was in the role of IT Systems Administrator and after being hired they made sure I continue to grow with my education. While working at iCanvas I gained three IT certification (Microsoft, Citrix Vmware), which were paid by the company in order to keep up with technology requirements. I would recommend iCanvas to anyone looking to expand their experience.

Cons

no downsides working at iCanvas, management is on point.
