Pros

Fairly flexible depending on your job title. Laid back depending on your job title. Hours are good, bankers holidays.

Cons

A few cons, but overall if your likeable and looking for a stepping stone this is the company for you. Sometimes you'll hear "We don't work here for the money" from senior management, and that feels like a slap in the face from someone who makes six figures.

Pros

- decent pay - broad range of perks incl. bonus on interest rates for employee accounts and financial planning / counseling - nice polite accepting community of coworkers - very verbally positive environment - very open to remote and hybrid

Cons

- 'culture of positivity' often feels performative, verging on cheerleading - a lot of time wasted on mind-numbingly mandatory training exercises and tests - a lot more time wasted on ridiculously restrictive security policies - a perpetually unsettling mix of overly strict and overly lax systems in general, alongside the expectation that individuals intuit which is which and conform accordingly - flexible work location, but inflexible work hours, even for tasks that are not time-sensitive
