I worked at iSelect full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Training system is great to learn, free coffee, cool office, ethically make 150k p.a but have to work hard for it.

    Cons

You have to work 6 days a week to make commission, nearly all team leaders can’t actually sell and don’t know what they are saying or training on. Expected to work overtime. Tenure isn’t recognised or appreciated.

    Pros

Learn or improve your selling skills during the first 3 weeks training period.

    Cons

The management and company culture. Unethical selling approach. Avoid the company as an employee.

    Pros

Good money if you make commissions, fun workplace during quieter times, free daily coffee

    Cons

Expected to work weekends, not expected to make commission for the first few months, more experienced employers are given a lot of extra treatment so earn A LOT more than others, lots of 'discretionary' overtime during busy months

    Advice to Management

Stop focusing on the high performers, they will eventually leave anyway. Focus more on the trainees and helping them achieve targets and earn commission and people will stay longer.

    Cons

Like all sales jobs, if your not good you will be gone before you establish anything, everyone from my group has left the business one year on.
