Pros

iWorkGlobal is like a startup in that any and every individual has the ability to bring about change, regardless of position in the org chart. Our leader is always looking at what transformation and evolution can and will look like for us. It's a high paced and demanding company. Commitment, ownership, and accountability are required from all. It's not a relaxed, chill environment, but that wouldn't be expected from a successful, fast growing, Bay Area company. Perhaps the most important aspect of the company to be aware of is the emotional stuff. There is so much interpersonal warmth and connectedness. Laughter and the occasional silliness is part of every single day. It's one thing to love your job; it's another thing entirely to love spending your life with the people you work with.

Cons

When a young company grows very quickly, it usually means your day isn't 9-5. But, that's also part of the excitement.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for my delay in responding—we are now participating in Glassdoor as an employer. I appreciate you taking the time to share your service experience and your views regarding the benefit programs for our payrolled workforce. I would also like to thank you for the service you provided to our client(s). We developed our payrolled worker benefit programs several years ago, in alignment with competitive marketplace pricing, profitability of our product and with consideration of contingent, transitional employment. I agree that benefit offerings for a contingent workforce are not at par with traditional fulltime employment. This has become a bigger issue with the growth and expansion of the contingent workforce and “gig economy”. We began a hard look at our contingent workforce benefits late last year and will be implementing several changes and additions during the 3rd and 4th quarter of this year. While we expect there to continue to be differences in the benefits afforded to a contingent workforce vs. more traditional full-time regular employment, we are confident the changes and additions we are implementing will work towards closing the gap and providing more comprehensive offerings. Thank you again for your feedback and service to our clients.

Pros

You can work from home.

Cons

- Very low pay - No paid lunch, or breaks throughout your workday. - You have to clock in continuous work and have to explain why you were gone from the computer for more than 15 minutes - even for an extended bathroom break. - There was a photo of me taken every 10 minutes of the work day for 8 months straight, no privacy whatsoever. - The training process was over 8 months long. - Benefits are only offered once a year. I started 2 weeks after their official cut off date so I was not eligible for benefits for an entire year. - Extremely boring and monotonous work environment.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your experience while you were providing services to one of our clients. Our personalized on-boarding process includes reviewing salary, benefits, paid breaks and job responsibilities to ensure a solid understanding before starting an assignment and to provide multiple options for addressing questions or concerns during employment. Time worked is reported and is the responsibility of the employee and is reviewed by management to ensure accuracy. Paid time is provided to all of our employees as required by law. It is clear that the position you chose was not a good fit for you. I wish you the best in your next endeavor.
