Pros

M-F, full time. Most people are nice to work with. Get to work with modern tech in the film/tv product industry. Semi-flexible hours for non operations employees. Hours 9a-6p. One hour lunch. Warehouse 7a-4p. Upper mgmt fllexible with appointments (doctor, otherwise). Family-positive and understanding about personal issues, reasonable conflicts, etc. Yearly benefits: 8 vacation days for employees 0-5yrs. 12 vacation days for employees 6-10yrs. 16 vacation days for employees 11+yrs. Up to 3 consecutive paid sick days. Able to roll over 40hrs. Maternity/paternity leave matches 100% retained PTO. Parks Coffee provided. Relaxed attire: jeans allowed.

Cons

No 401k matching. Each employee will hold one title but perform multiple roles. When someone gets fired, their tasks get shifted to someone else. Before you know it, you'll be working 3 or 4 people's work for a low salary, unless you're a higher up. Higher ups do get compensated well. Huge pay gap between C-suite employees and team member. Ranges from hundreds of thousands down to 30k. Location gets broken into multiple times a year. Petty thieves because of the store front. Location also has/had rats. A few have known to die in the walls and the office reeked for days before they hired someone to find it in the ceiling. Another one died, probably somewhere very hard to find so there were huge flies flying all over, I'm talking HUGE flies that would find their way through the lighting fixtures, sometimes falling right into your coffee cup. Forget having a brand new hot chocolate packet, unopened, in a drawer. You might find it ripped apart, eaten to bits, under your file cabinet. The rats like to take your trash out and eat anything under the communal couch. Did I mention the other communal couch that used to house a mouse/rat? Just pick it up exposing all the animal droppings on the ground, and move it into a private room. The private room is for the breast feeding mother who needs to pump. This is actually a pro because everyone is family-positive. The issue is with the use of the rat couch for such a sanitary experience. No official HR Dept. CFO is also HR. Yearly PTO is earned over the course of the year, equal parts deposited in bank every 2 weeks. A lot of mgmt turnover. Building/offices are not aesthetically pleasing. Some roof leaks are too expensive to fix.
