Pros

- Other IT Support / Office 365 Ambassadors are friendly.

Cons

- Job description not as advertised. - Training lacking in appropriate technical expertise necessary to fulfil the requirements - Contractual terms changed without negotiation with employees. It became a like it or leave situation. - Nothing to guarantee that the terms won't change again in future to suit employer - Pay not comparable with jobs requiring similar level of technical expertise

A terrible place to work

Pros

Company is very agile, things are always changing Good amount of time off and reasonable benefits

Cons

It's very hard to put the 'culture of incompetence' into words. Imagine for a minute that you got a bunch of people together then through poor people management and stress you drove away anyone with any talent or enthusiasm. Now run this idea in your head for fifteen years replacing staff over and over and over and you still aren't close to it. Sawing through the trunk of this sickly tree you will find the rings of historical plans and promises all long forgotten. A constantly shifting back and forth has left people confused and without direction. It's left the technology inconsistent and buggy. Groups of employees work against each other all trying to do their own contrary things. In essence it's a garden of weeds. Staff don't know how to fix things because they get left in the dark and expected to just be psychic. Middle managers don't know what to do because they don't have the skills to do their jobs properly, they have just been around long enough to put up with the crap and so have ended up in positions of power. Senior management has become a circle of yes men surrounding a fragile but tyrannical CEO who I suspect is now frantically working to find out who wrote this so that they can be punished for speaking out Did you know that at one point the CEO put up a hidden camera because someone was rude in fridge magnets? Toxic masculinity still lives on. All feedback must go through layers of management first which all try to throw it away but if you are lucky you might end up being personally told you are just wrong or treated like an idiot by senior management. Imagine your complaints person is Christian Grey and you get the idea. The equipment in the office is as dated as the way of thinking. Working conditions around the office are utterly different ranging from shiny new air controlled offices for the select golden few to the stained ungodly overheated mess that everyone else works in. Some people have shiny new macs and huge TVs mounted on the wall while whole teams are struggling to clear the cobwebs out of their kit. Some teams are obviously preferred while others just don't get anything close. The reasons there are so many bad reviews here is that it's the only way people in power will listen and then very quickly get buried by people being encouraged to drown it out with good feedback. A lot of people are fed up and ready to go. Basically just avoid this place. You don't know what you are setting yourself up for. Read the reviews here and not just the happy clappy cult posts.
