CEO doesn’t know what he is doing

Pros

Almost everyone is nice to work with and you can work remote on your own schedule. COO and COS make the team great..You can talk through different types of challenges with your team and figure out new ways to work together.

Cons

If you have any self respect you will not work here. Every problem can be traced back to the CEO, who will tell you to your face to keep your head down and keep quiet.

Pros

Remote work and interesting industry to learn about.

Cons

Complete lack of checks and balances within the org. Other reviews that call out CEO are accurate- that person is micromanaging every other role and if you disagree, he will actually fixate on you, your moves, and what you do/don’t do. It’s actually quite frightening seeing as any role is attached to your healthcare, your income. If you have a family, do not risk it. There is so no Hr to report violations or harassment. If you are BIPOC, do not risk it. This is not an inclusive space. Because the business is so poorly managed, terminating employees is a regular occurrence and the first to be let go are people the CEO is fixated on, no matter how productive they are. SLT encourages this behavior by participating in team meetings where everyone is ranked and talked about. VPs talk like they are trying to hit the word minimum but very little makes sense or has actual direction. Personally have had meetings with these VPs where they asked me what the CEO was talking about. It’s shocking. And if all that wasn’t enough, the actual service provided is not that impactful. They lead with a lot of heart and empathy talk but it’s bottom dollar only. There are far better, more stable orgs doing better work in this space. CEO has a reputation within pharma clients as being a bit off in the head.

Don’t work here

Pros

- remote - amazing co-workers (minus leadership) - decent salary increases if CEO likes you

Cons

This is the worst company I’ve ever worked. There is blatant mismanagement from the leadership team. The CEO encourages diversity, while also wishing to just replicate himself in every new hire. The values are just for show, and if you share a difficult truth, the CEO will use it against you down the line. The leadership team expects all employees to trust them, without them being transparent about finances, coworkers laid off or fired, or career growth. If you’re BIPOC, just don’t even both applying / interviewing.
