Pros

- Get to work with very talented people - Projects are exciting & show fast paced progress - Get to see projects through from start to finish - Opportunity to be very hands-on across all business areas

Cons

- Lack of respect & trust in your field despite being hired for that knowledge & experience - Expectation to drop personal plans for unrealistic deadlines - Lack of appreciation, leadership 'joke' about how late people have to work & often express that if you don't work overtime you might not belong in the company - LinkedIn promotes being experts in 'scaling up' despite having recently made almost half the company redundant - Company vision changes every quarter depending on which client they are trying to impress or sign

Scaling up?

Pros

- Day to day team atmosphere was enjoyable. - Colleagues were easy to work with. - Opportunity to be involved in interesting projects.

Cons

- No recognition from CSuite for the team's work, told that working long hours is necessary to progress. - Lack of knowledge from sales and CSuite leading to mis-selling of the product and large chunks of bespoke tech work, defeating the purpose of the tool itself. -Very limited opportunity for career growth. - Approach to layoffs leaves a lot to be desired, given it was a small, close-knit team.

Pros

mmob provides a mature environment where employees are trusted and have the opportunity to learn new skills quickly. There are challenging and interesting projects to get involved in across the company and a sense that everyone is working for the common goal. As a start up, everyone is required to be a self starter and react well to changing priorities and this is evident across the business. There is a sense that we are building something of value that is being received very well.

Cons

As with many companies, communication could be improved at times. As the company is small and busy, some communications can get lost due to priorities shifting.
