So much potential but too much management is squashing it.
Pros
The people doing the actual work are amazing; bright, young, eager, talented. The benefits are fantastic. The Austin and Germany teams have a lot to offer and there's a deep talent pool to draw from. The product has a lot of potential and the pipeline of business is full.
Cons
Management is flaky, unprofessional, and has a rotating agenda. The CEO is fantastic but has lost control of the culture he built. All of the great things the old guard did when they were GlobeSherpa has been ignored in favor of a more corporate, suffocating culture. There are a few people there who are managers who have no business being managers. The people doing the work aren't respected or consulted on anything regarding process. The company over-promises to clients and then works the team to death to try to achieve unrealistic goals. The organizational structure is broken and needs to be more flat. The product needs more focus on stability and security before adding new features. Your client base will dry up if you don't get things right from the top down.
