Pros

1. Fellow account managers are very nice and will be your #1 reason to stay 2. Remote First (for now, with plan to go back in September) 3. The products created by myBlueprint have the ability to make a difference in the lives of people using them. 4. They give you the week between Christmas and New Years off

Cons

1. They expect your workload to be done in 45 hours a week, reality is they overcharge your responsibilities to make your work week 60 hours. Anything below, they will unrealistically call you out on it. THEY DO NOT TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION OVERTIME PAY. 2. You spend up to 10 hours a week filling excel sheets, confluence pages and other documents for nothing. You convey the same info through too many challenges. 3. There is no work/life balance. 4. Benefits are almost non-existent, universities provide better healthcare coverage. 5. Everyone is secretly miserable on the surface and managers get real feedback and aren't transparent about it. Upper management lives in their own information funnel. 6. Directors love to take advantage of you, your time, and when everything is said and done, they will refuse to give you commission that is rightfully yours. 7. If you're a teacher looking to move careers, this company will not give you better work/life balance. 8. Not much vacation time 9. You may be hired for a certain position and they will keep adding more tasks to your plate without any consideration of your time or skillset.

We appreciate the time you’ve taken to share your feedback. It is important for us to hear what we are doing well and what we need to improve on. It is great to hear you enjoyed working with your fellow Account Managers and the all-star team here at myBlueprint. We are also glad to know you welcomed the Remote First culture we have embraced and plan to continue with moving forward in September 2022 and beyond. We are not happy to hear that your experience working here has been unsatisfactory and we take ownership for the ways we might have let you down. Of course, we are disappointed when myBlueprint isn’t the right fit for someone despite our best efforts, but we will always listen and accommodate when we can. We wanted to address some of the specific points you've mentioned and what we are doing to improve: 1. Transparency on Paid Vacation - Employees start with nearly 4 weeks of paid time off, including flex days, company wide paid days, and wellness days. In addition, everyone receives paid sick days and bereavement days. On each anniversary year, employees earn +2 additional paid vacation days to use as they wish. We are transparent about the time off policy during the hiring process and each candidate has the opportunity to decide if their benefits package meets their needs. 2. Improving Benefits - All employees receive comprehensive medical coverage, including unlimited prescription drugs, dental, access to practitioners, and mental health resources. To complement the medical coverage, in September 2022 we are launching a flexible spending account that can be used for any health or wellness related expenses. Now, more than ever, we all understand how critically important balance and wellness is to the health and success of all of us. Our Wellness Committee also hosts events including virtual fitness classes, stress management workshops, and more throughout the year to support our team. 3. Acting on Employee Feedback - We strive to always listen and act on employee feedback. This includes anonymous eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score) surveys which led to the introduction of our wellness days and flexible spending accounts this year alone. We are delighted to have seen an eNPS score increase of +26 in our recent survey results - bringing our score into the “Great” category. 4. Better Defining Roles - Along with rapidly hiring to support our team (doubling the size of the company in the last 18-24 months!), we have focused on better defining roles and responsibilities to help employees balance work/life and their expectations. This is an ongoing process and we continue to hear from employees that this effort is making a meaningful impact. It is an exciting time at myBlueprint as we grow and introduce a product line, Spaces, to celebrate student growth beyond the grade. This new division is very much a “start up” and we rely on our employees to be adaptable and ready to tackle the realities of such a setting. We recognize this environment may not be right for everyone, and we will always respect that. At the same time, we are always striving to improve, grow, and support the health and success of every employee on our team. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback.

Incompetent leadership is frustrating to work with

Pros

If it weren't for the support of my coworkers, I probably would left a long time ago.

Cons

Leadership is unprofessional and incompetent. They constantly make awful decisions and throw employees under the bus in order to avoid taking accountability for their actions. They set unreasonable expectations for us to meet without providing any support, yell at us for making even the smallest of mistakes, and are overall just unpleasant to work with.

Pros

Some coworkers tried to stick together through the madness, but that's about it.

Cons

Working here was like walking on a tightrope with no safety net. The CEO is unkind, unprofessional, and completely disconnected from the reality of what employees face daily. The leadership team operates like a high school clique, where attitude matters more than ability, and favoritism runs deep. It truly felt like bling leading the blind; no direction, no accountability, just chaos. Everything is disorganize, and most employees are juggling multiple roles without proper training or support. The new products are underwhelming, the old ones are dying out, and it's hard to feel secure where there's a constant fear that each day might be your last. The work environment is hostile, full of pressure and anxiety, and the overall stress is just not worth it.
