Pros

mywedding was good for a very short period of time. They looked after their content writers but the management changed. so I switched to emmalovesweddings.com. They pay me well.

Cons

Lower pay rates and no support

Pros

Very positive atmosphere among co-workers, opportunity to work remotely, "Share the Love" monthly meetings where employees can shout out to their co-workers on a job well done or to thank them for help, etc. (this is really great and helps foster a nice team environment and comradery), senior consultants are very helpful and most are willing to help new sales people learn.

Cons

Micromanagement, unattainable sales goals which the vast majority of the sales people do not even come close to achieving each month, VERY HIGH TURNOVER due to inaccuracies stated during the interview process.

Our training program is always a work in progress. Based on feedback from our employees, the initial training program has been re-evaluated and extended to include more in depth product and sales training allowing new sales employees to be more successful as they join their designated sales team.. In addition, supplemental training is available for current staff to help them develop their sales skills. This has had a positive impact on employee satisfaction and retention.

Pros

End of Month Company Lunches, Coffee Cart, Great friendships to be found with other employees.

Cons

This is nothing more than a call center in disguise. Unattainable goals. The management will give all decent accounts to one person who is everything but a team-player. Endless "coaching" calls which are really just new ways to berate and belittle you. Be prepared the last day of the month to be threatened to work until at least 10pm even if you are at 40 hours (and they offer NO overtime) The threats don't end on the last day they are present every day. The stress is unneeded in what is basically a minimum wage job, commission ceiling is great but good luck hitting the "goal" after your first month. No training, just a throw you to the wolves mentality..
