Pros

Some people are good to work with

Cons

All the good reviews were posted on the same day. I did not see much evidence of mental health support when I was there, and in regards to development I don't think this is prioritised. Management have no understanding of how long it takes to make a project. They push people to work overtime due to poor planning. Often people are not listened to as management think they know best.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re constantly looking at ways to ensure our colleagues are supported throughout their careers and this includes receiving clear objectives and regular appraisals within their roles. Since October 2018 we have had two fully trained mental health first aiders and aim to do all we can to avoid crunch and overtime. We’d be interested to hear how we improve on any other areas, please do get in touch with the HR dept so we can help address any issues!

Pros

Some incredibly talented and skilled creatives and developers.

Cons

Management team ring fenced the CEO to allow the team to get on with they do best, however the team is still mainly marketing lead. Their approach doesn't reflect the products the current trends in VR and AR so their time may well be limited.

Pros

- Some amazing colleagues who really care about what they are doing. - VR for me was great fun to work on. - I did like how nDreams supports growth and development with the academy. Although you have to be lucky enough to have a manager who cares enough to get this perk (which i did not).

Cons

- so many of the staff at nDreams are great but there are an arrogant few (in management roles) who really make you feel like your own experience is worthless. Also, if you try to suggest options or routes that deviate from thier set ideas, you will be shot down, in some cases humiliated and pushed to one side. - you will not receive a bonus at nDreams, even if you are performing well and exceeding expectations in your role. - There are some really arrogant employees in the code team.

Thank you for your feedback, all feedback is important to us. I am sorry that you did not enjoy all of your time at nDreams. We encourage a culture of openness at nDreams and try to support all members of the team, it would have been good if you had felt able to address your areas of concern and we could have helped you to resolve any discontent you had. For your awareness, we have recently recruited discipline managers who will be working closely with their teams to ensure that everyone is given equal opportunities to progress and put forward their ideas. I am sorry that this was not in place before you left nDreams as I believe you would have had a different experience.
