Erratic decisions and extremely poor management.
I feel the management team does not know how to manage a team and lacks vision.
The company fired 80% of the team at the drop of a hat with no severance pay or anything. And the surprising part is that they were "actively" hiring for multiple vacancies till about a month ago before firing.
They did exactly the same with the other company Two Roads.
Fancy AI jargon and overfit models will not make money.
It got quite toxic by the end of it and probably the investors could read through it as well.
I doubt if the current management will ever be able to attract good talent for any future ventures after what they did with qplum and TwoRoads.
Beware of the perils of husband-wife team at workplace.
