Pros

Work from home, flexible schedule & PTO, no micromanaging, friendly culture.

Cons

Lots of family & friends work at rater8 and they are favored and promoted due to this. Everyone is not evaluated the same resulting in unfairness. Executives want to see certain people succeed, and there seems to be a communication disconnect between departments & upper management.

They don't care about the employees and never will. If you want to work in a toxic envirment work here

Toxic Culture Masked as Great Place to Work

Pros

-100% Remote -Amazing co-workers at the peer and managerial level: lots of smart, collaborative employees who are passionate about their work. -Unlimited time off: you're note encouraged to use it so you have to be proactive and take time off for yourself.

Cons

-Micromanagement: The leadership team doesn't trust people to do their jobs. -Lack of communication: They don't set clear expectations. -No office stipend: You have to use your own computer and do not receive a stipend to offset the cost of repairs and/or upgrades. -Double standards: Executives receive special privileges, and negative behavior is overlooked for them while not tolerated in others. -Unfair terminations: People are often fired without prior warning or an opportunity to improve. -Below market compensation packages.
