Let's see... - As a consultant, expect to be dropped into a project using a technology you know nothing about and being expected to deliver it like you're an expert - Expect to have engagements dropped on you at the last minute - Expect a LOT of travel between engagements (which tend to be quite short) and no sympathy - Expect a cliquey atmosphere when you visit head office and to be treated like you don't quite fit in - Expect to be dealing with a hoard of 18 year old school leavers running the helpdesk and bulk of IT operations at head office - Expect these minimum wage guys to be qualified to the hilt with phony MCP's - Expect the company to actually encourage its employees to gain said MCP's by any means necessary and look the other way - Expect something of a "brainwashed" culture at head office, where employees buy into the emphatic ra-ra speeches the two owners like to deliver with alarming frequency - Expect most non-office based workers to see through these speeches as nothing but empty rhetoric - Expect that very soon the owners begin to ditch the facade that their employees happiness is more important than their profits (just check their year end reports on Companies House and you'll see what I mean) - Expect that pretty soon you'll realise there's a lot to be said for being treated like a number at a faceless corporation, as the opposite is pretty nauseating

You’ll notice if you’re a regular glass door user the quite remarkable bounce back of the once poor (and truly reflective) score awarded to risual. Well I can’t stand back and let a mockery being made of Glass Door, it should be a trusted resource and not something that is manipulated to combat a reflective, and well deserved poor score. You will notice that if you have a scroll back to the 16th of March a raft of overly positive posts were posted on the same day! (come of guys if you’re wanting to cheat the system at least make it a little less obvious!) - if you scroll previous to the 16th of March you’ll see the true and actuate posts. Yes, people were asked to write these, and yes the same people posted multiple times. Next up you’ll notice on the 22nd August yet another truly accurate post "Avoid at all costs" and then true to form more overly positive posts (yes all posted on the same day again) in a bid to cheat the system and restore their false score. It’s just not right that a useful resource many people look to should be abused in this way. Yes the posts have all been reported to Glass Door.
