Management is very incompetent with some exceptions. Most of the Tech managers are promoted with no experience of working at SDE3/SDE4 level. Too high expectation from developers and their personal life are usually not respected.
I have joined Slice as SDE-1. Their interview process was really smooth and quick. The recruiter clearly stated on what to expect in each round. The results of each round were communicated the very next day.
The company also made me interact with the directors of engineering even before my Day-1 at Slice. They were really helpful in setting the expectations of the role and giving me an insight into the team and culture.
Also, the induction process is really smooth. The process is detailed enough to set you going with whatever information you'll need in future. The people are really cooperative and always eager to help.
The learning curve is enormous and the conducive work culture is worth appreciation
