Within my team processes were constantly changing or at times completely absent. Relationships with higher ups can go from explicitly satisfied to irreconcilably dissatisfied seemingly overnight.
Not much more to say that hasn't already been said around leadership, most of which I emphatically agree with. It's worth adding that leaderships communications to employees around the state/direction of the company are intentionally vague, and dangerously close to outright dishonest. For example, the CEO's company update in April (https://www.solo.io/blog/solo-io-update-2023/) followed by several rounds of layoffs starting not even two months later. I highly caution anyone considering investing their time and efforts here that they may not be as requited as the company heads would like you to believe.
