      Lot's of Changes Currently but An Amazing Team

      Pros

      The business has gone through a lot of changes over the last couple of years but I loved my time at tentree and made lifelong friends. My time there had so many more ups than downs. - Great people, great attitudes - Incredible mission - Love the product and brand - I had quite a bit of upward mobility from where I started as a result of the small team and growing company - Team tries hard to build relationships and celebrate

      Cons

      - Smaller teams means less support - Growth hasn't materialized as fast as expected from what I can see - During times of change, expectations could get a bit ambiguous - There were "crunch" times where hours could be long (ie. Christmas selling)

      Questioning the Roots of Their Culture

      The tree-planting aspect makes the corporate work feel better.

      Cons

      - tentree laid off a bunch of directors recently and quietly distributed their jobs, without compensation or an increase in pay. It meant more work for the same money. - There's been a big wave of people jumping off the boat. The "leaders" (which they really aren't) don't talk about it. Instead, they just keep distributing the work and responsibility, again with no promotions or pay increases. -It seems pretty misleading when tentree's mission and vision are to protect the environment and help communities, but they clearly aren't even taking care of their own employees. - Definitely poor management.
