Pros

You get your salary. That's the only thing.

Cons

The Bad The moment you join this company, you feel something is wrong. Hiring and firing are both very easy here. The culture feels like a school, not an IT company. Honestly, they are running a school in the name of an IT firm. I worked at the Noida office, so this experience is based on that. They make you sign a 2-year bond. The probation period is 1 year. Office culture is extremely strict and controlling. Office Rules & Facilities You need passes to go outside. Only two passes at a time. There is no cafeteria. No coffee machine. No tea or coffee provided by the company. If you want tea or coffee, you must go outside — and for that, you need a pass. There is no microwave to heat your food. Water dispenser is in the basement, and the water filter is very dirty. Employees are advised to bring water from home or buy bottles. Office Infrastructure During monsoon, water leaks from walls, and cracks appear. You can hear pigeons disturbing you while working on the first floor. Toilets are unhygienic. Often there is no tissue or toilet paper in the washrooms. Work Conditions No work from home, even in extreme conditions. I was asked to come to the office while suffering from typhoid. One of my friends was forced to come during peak monsoon flooding in Delhi. Cab fare was ₹800. No reimbursement. Leave & Salary Issues Even if you have leave balance, you must ask the office peon (Ayush). His response was always: “Theek hai, dekhte hain.” Salary is credited between 10th and 15th of the month. Office timing is between 8 to 10 AM. If you come after 10, salary is deducted. Even on approved paid leaves, ₹500 is deducted per leave. The reason for this deduction is never clearly explained. The Ugly The Actual Work Culture The company is run by the Gupta brothers, who live in the USA. Operations happen in India. They are among the worst people you can work with in your career. Extreme work pressure. Employees are forced to work on weekends. Projects that require 5 months are given a 30 day deadline. Constant Pressure Status meetings twice a week. If you are not in their good books: Status meetings happen every day, sometimes even at night. There is a grading system. Even after working day and night, you may receive a C grade. Unrealistic Expectations Timelines are decided by management, not by the people doing the work. They openly say things like: “Why should I pay you if you can’t meet the deadline?” They taunt employees repeatedly about their salary. As if salary is not payment for work, but a favor. Fear-Based Environment People are fired very easily. I spoke to someone who was put on PIP within 2 months of joining. Continuous mental pressure. No job security. No peace of mind. Final Words If you value mental peace, if you want a healthy work-life balance, or if you are not mentally very strong — Do not join uCertify. This company creates constant stress and fear. Life is already hard. Work should not make it worse.
