HR is writing all the positive reviews

Pros

It doesn't have any pros anymore, before it was a lot better but now is a total mess.

Cons

HR is writing all the positive reviews trying to show the company is the perfect place to work but it's all FAKE. All the C-Levels are puppets of AxelSpringer (mother company), whatever AxelSpringer says the C-Levels have no power and just say OKAY.

higher-ups don't know how to talk to employees

Pros

Nice colleagues, remote work during Corona.

Cons

Few weeks ago I would have given upday 5 stars, but after managers decided to delegate their work to employees to get their ideas for a new business and paying for the best ideas 500 euros (which is a joke) I decided to give it only 2 stars. Managers since they have the power and are members of AxelSpringer's board, they think they can talk however they want without any respect. There were this question asked by someone what happens if an idea brings so much profit to the company? Does the person who gave the idea get a share or reward? The rude answer from one of the managers was: "If you think your idea is so amazing and don't want to share it with us you can leave the company and pursue your dream elsewhere".

Pros

- International Atmosphere - Mostly nice people

Cons

- CTO is too risk averse, some managers were promoted due to the wrong reasons which leads to some dismay - Corporate culture leaking in from parent company - Too focused on process rather than achievements
