Pros
My favorite thing at virtualQ is the product, we're making something that matters and help normal people waist less time. It's the reason I reached to this company in the first place. The team turned out to be great, with lots of variety and no workplace politics. It's a startup, but we're not trying to blindly follow the silicon valley in a superficial fashion. You get the possibility to work remotely on your own schedule. The pay is fair for a startup, technical work is interesting. Because we're a small team, each person has multiple hats and sometimes needs to do thing outside of his domain, it's an opportunity to learn new things.
Cons
I'd say that sometime the organisation can be chaotic, mainly because the team is growing and we're still figuring out the process. The team is also spread out across Germany (offices in Berlin and Stuttgart), with some coworkers around the world (UK, italy, usa ..), so each office is quite small (today, but we're planning to triple in size).
