      Pros

      It's a pity, because the product conceptually is good and there are some honest-working people across most teams. In practice however wappier sells 95%-pure hot air, to employees and customers alike.

      Cons

      Don't believe the fake reviews and fabricated culture portrayed over social media; this company is on a clear mission to fake it till the founders make it. Pizza Wednesdays, YAY! Despite all the effort to re-brand & get some distance from sins of the past, Velti's DNA lives strong. Company values are celebrated at every chance: greed, disrespect & obscurity. Salaries are not paid on time - hope you're ok with a few months' delay.

      A company you should never work for

      + Technologies are modern + Patras office is a quite place for working

      Cons

      - Bad business ethics. - Unfulfilled corporate expectations. Up to 6 months of no payment! - No internal promotions. Outsiders fill key positions. - Lack of trust in CEO. - Lack of learning opportunities. No training. - No clear plan for the future, employees don’t know long-term goals, senior leadership fails to adequately communicate.

      We are really sorry you feel that way. Our company is a product, same like the ones you were working on as a Software Engineer. As with all products, it (i.e. we) has evolved. It’s still evolving, constantly improving by learning from its bugs and adding new features (i.e. our people and customers). Since you moved on, we have reached wappier v24. Is it the final version? Of course not. Is it better than v10? Absolutely. I encourage you to reach out and learn about our accomplishments the past year and how the company has grown. You might even consider coming back ;)

      Unacceptable CEO - Improper C Level management - Unsuitable work environment

      Great people to work with, although most have already left

      1. Untrustworthy CEO (Alex Moukas) - wrong decisions that led the company not to pay employees - he has made the mistake before at VELTI He bankrupts companies and creates new ones under different names of owners, owing money to the Greek government as well . 2. Even now that I have resigned I have not received money for several months . 3. For a long time, we were not registered with the IKA without any information . 4. There are sexists in c-level positions . 5. No recognition of the contribution of the valuable employees working in the company - they got good raises only those who had good relations with the upper management - they also promoted people who were not productive and created conflicts within the company. 6. Micromanagement at all levels. 7. CEO (Alex Moukas) created an NGO and presented it as a customer of wappier mocking the employees. This man is unreliable and always finds ways to owe everything and not pay. He lives in luxury and claims to travel to America to find investors hahaha
