Pros
Nice company cars and the majority of my colleagues in the UK were genuinely nice people. 4pm Friday finishes are a little bonus I suppose and a small team means easy line of communication. Final pro is the product- excellent concept and certainly does what it says on the tin.
Cons
Cons far outweigh pros I'm afraid. I worked there just over a year and saw no less than 6 people leave or be fired out of a team of less than 15 in the UK. It's a hostile environment with most of the major management coming from Germany and Spain. Time is wasted on pointless activity and the route to market is so complex it over inflates the price. With stiff competition offering cheaper alternatives which wedi can't truly differentiate from, I don't see the firm doing very well in the UK in the next 2 years. I was in fact investigated for gross misconduct after interviewing for other roles when I started to see the cracks appear. When handing in my resignation, they refused it and then dismissed me. How petty?! No pay rises for the people who stuck with it and put a lot of hours in. Ok, when things are tough it's not great to ask for a raise, but it was only a small one so I could make ends meet at home, I wasn't asking for much. They also hadn't given me a review after being promised, nor did I sign anything to say I'd passed probation. I was refused 3 times with no real justification as to why. The company cars have trackers and you're frequently reminded of this. I would say I work honestly in the field so don't need to be spied on or reminded I'm being watched. DO NO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY
