My colleague just confided in me that she is dealing with an annoying situation. She meets every promotion criteria, manager agrees she performing with exceeding expectations, but her time at the company (2 years) is apparently the issue. She has 8 years of prior industry experience. Has anyone successfully navigated such a situation and secured a promotion?
