I have decades of experience in L.A. as a writer/producer of TV and film. I've done both drama and comedy, but lean more heavily toward comedy. I've worked with nearly every network and studio, Oscar-winners like Steven Spielberg and Martin Landau, award-winners like Harold Ramis, Jamie Foxx and Jim Carrey, and dozens of A-list performers, In addition, I've taught screenwriting.

I’ve bounced between full time and freelance my whole career of about 2 decades now, but never leveled up to becoming a 1099 independent business. I’m ready to do that now and have heard S-corp is the way to go here in NYC, vs. LLC. Otherwise, I tried to get a mentor via SCORE.org but every time I respond to their email, I never hear back. Wondering about any other resources that could help with advice, running my own creative business (multimedia designer, video editing focus).

Does anyone have any insights regarding salary for a digital producer role at Macquarie?
