Merchandise Allocator salaries in Australia

Think I’m to the point I am tired of retail. It just doesn’t excite me like it used to. I am a great merchandiser and will still make sure I get it done and make it look good but I am so burnt out it’s crazy. I’m trying to find my next happiness in a job. Any suggestions?

I feel at a loss, I'm 25 years old and have had one job not because of laziness but due to circumstances I couldn't physically change. Photography and digital editing are some things I'm extremely passionate about & I really like the idea of being a visual merchandiser but with no experience so to say it's extremely hard. I've thought about volunteering but at the moment I've basically been told it's a waste of time however I feel like it will boost me into getting a real job.

hiii!! i'm 17 (still in high school) and have never had a job before because my mom never felt like i was ready. i really want to get into retail. i don't know how. do you guys have any tips? i applied to a couple places and didn't get in. it says i'm a retail merchandiser cause glassdoor expected me to put something for a job and i think, out of all the retail jobs, that's what i'd like to do the best. i really hope this fits here. i'm sorry if it doesn't.

How about changing profile from bid manager in IT industry to visual merchandiser in fashion retail industry for a woman who was on career break for 2 years and a stay at home mother at present. Pls advise and share your experiences who are visual merchandiser here. Thanks!
