March was a special month for BairesDev, as we hosted the first 2026 Global Ambassadors editions in MedellĂn, Montevideo, Porto Alegre and SĂŁo Paulo. The Global Ambassadors gatherings are great opportunities for BDevers to meet their peers in person and strengthen relationships. This non-mandatory experience is designed by our Ambassadors and may include any kind of social, fun activity to foster integration beyond screens, complementing our 100% remote-first policy. Daniella Ham, Global Community and Engagement Partner at BairesDev, detailed how this experience is designed: "For us in People Success, Global Ambassadors is designed as a meaningful complement to our remote-first culture. The goal is to create spaces where BDevers can live our culture in a more personal way, focusing on inclusivity, genuine connection, and experiences that feel both engaging and representative of who we are as a community."
Do you know the Dev Barometer? Itâs our quarterly survey that dives into the minds of software engineers. This January, we surveyed 1,329 developers across 61 countries to see how AI is reshaping our industry. For this edition, we also brought a sharper lens to women in tech, finding that 64% say AI has expanded their ability to shape their own career growth. Virginia MorĂ©, a Software Engineer at BairesDev, describes this transition toward higher-level design: âBefore AI, I was focused on implementation. Now I think much more like an architect.â This shift confirms that BDevers are becoming a truly AI-native workforce, absorbing routine tasks to focus on the strategic decisions that create lasting value. Weâre back from the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 after leaving a clear message: talented people create real value for customers and sustainable growth for companies. âThe world changes. How do you solve that? By having brilliant and hardworking peopleâ, said our CEO Nacho De Marco during the panel âHow High Can Unicorns Fly?â. From a tech point of view, it means that developers are eliminating routine tasks and pivoting towards higher-level problem-solving as the first truly AI-native workforce, and generating real value in the process.
