Ms. Beth Boucher, Independent Director and Chair of the CSR Committee, Coforge, and Ms. Anuradha Sehgal, Chief Brand and Sustainability Officer, Coforge, along with IIT (BHU) Director, Prof. Amit Patra, formally inaugurated The Coforge Data & AI Lab at IIT (BHU), Varanasi. Also present on the occasion were Dean R&D, Dr. Rajesh Kumar; Head and In-charge of The Coforge Data & AI Lab, Dr. S. K. Singh; Professor-in-Charge of Corporate and Industry Relations, Dr. Sushant Kumar Shrivastava; and faculty members and students of IIT (BHU), Varanasi. Students and researchers at IIT (BHU) will now have access to a live, enterprise-grade environment to explore real-world AI and data science applications, supported by structured learning and mentorship from Coforge’s Data and AI experts. The lab’s vision is to create an inclusive, innovation-led ecosystem that empowers students to apply knowledge to solve real-world challenges. To begin with, the lab will support four research projects addressing critical societal needs: ✓ AI-assisted vulnerability detection to strengthen cybersecurity ✓ AI-powered assistive reading system for the visually impaired ✓ IoT and AI-based soil health monitoring system for sustainable agriculture ✓ Cognitive research initiative to enhance mathematical abilities of schoolchildren in Varanasi through brainwave-based interventions

With three functioning public libraries across three states in India we remain committed to setting up the 30 libraries across India that we had set out to do. Coforge, in collaboration with Pegasystems and Amazon Web Services (AWS), has delivered a secure, scalable contact centre and CRM solution that empowers NHS 24 to enhance patient access and experience, improve staff efficiency and responsiveness, and enable real-time data sharing and analytics.
