We’re committed to investing in our people and their professional development through training and apprenticeships. 🌱 Elijah and Melissa from our HR team are currently completing a Level 7 Strategic People Professional Apprenticeship alongside their roles at First Mile. Last week, we kicked off the First Mile football tournament to support Movember, raising awareness of men's health issues like mental health and prostate cancer. ⚽️ Teams from London Office, Birmingham, and Operations sites came together in high spirits to compete for the coveted First Mile Cup. There were some impressive Movember tashes and even better football skills on display, but after a thrilling final, London Office was victorious with a nail-biting 16-15 #Movember #BeOneTeam #Football

The theme of this year’s Black History Month is “Reclaiming Narratives”. The aim is to reveal the untold stories of Black heritage by challenging the narratives that often overlook the contributions of Black individuals. This erasure has taken place in many areas, including in the environmental and climate justice space. So, today we’re sharing some achievements from Black climate activists that resonate with us and our core value of loving the planet.
