Even though the pandemic situation forces us to stay at home, it didn't stop us from providing remote internship experiences for talented software engineers from all over the world. Meet Cheng and Derrick, our Batch 5 interns. Cheng is joining us remotely all the way from China, whereas Derrick is currently living in Japan. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for being a part of our growth during this new normal! Batch 3 was a unique batch for both our global interns as well as HENNGE members, to say the least. Widespread self-quarantine started in mid-March in Japan. To prioritize the health and safety of our interns, we shifted our program to a half-remote internship. Our interns attended meetings (and GIP lunches) virtually and were allowed to come to the office during off-peak commuting hours. Thankfully, all of our interns completed the internship and made it back home safe and sound. Stay safe, healthy, and wash your hands!
