Our nurses are bringing frontline insights to the forefront of research with guidance from the Henry Ford + MSU INSPIRE program. From reducing maternal anxiety during cesarean births to enhancing nursing residency programs, this partnership initiative offers one-on-one mentorship from leaders at Henry Ford Health and the Michigan State University College of Nursing. One of those nurses, Patricia Klassa, shared how impactful that mentorship can be: “Dr. Ashlee Vance has been a literal godsend, guiding me along the way over these past several months. While Henry Ford Hospital has been a Magnet® facility since 2020, this re-designation continues to validate the high-quality, compassionate care our nurses provide each day to our patients and prove that we are committed to keeping our patients at the center of all we do.
