We are proud to celebrate the achievement of our Site Manager, Jak Tyrer, who recently completed a triathlon in an impressive time of 2:49:51, while raising just shy of £13,000 for Fighting to be Heard. Wanting the challenge to support a cause that meant something to the wider team, Jak asked our operatives to choose the charity they wanted him to fundraise for. Following their nominations, Fighting to be Heard was selected. Fighting to be Heard is a volunteer-led charity that raises awareness of secondary (metastatic) breast cancer and provides support, friendship and financial assistance to those living with an incurable diagnosis. The charity works tirelessly to ensure those affected receive the support they need and that their voices are heard. Completing a triathlon takes dedication, resilience, and months of preparation, making this an outstanding personal achievement alongside the successful fundraising effort. To celebrate, we recognised Jak's achievement during our team brief, where colleagues congratulated him on both his fundraising success and triathlon performance. The team also created congratulatory signage, and provided sweet treats for all the operatives and staff to enjoy. Congratulations again to Jak on a fantastic achievement, and thank you to everyone who donated and supported him throughout!
What a fantastic weekend at the Caerwys Show! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us over the weekend. It was great to see so many people support a local show, as well as speak with visitors about what we do here.
