Mario Day Art Under the Stairs For the avid gamers among us, you might already know that 10th March is National Mario Day, celebrating the iconic character from the beloved Nintendo video game series. This year, Mario Day provided the perfect theme for our latest Art Under the Stairs competition, which encourages employees and their families to unleash their creativity. We received some fantastic entries from our employees' children, showcasing their creative talents—a skill that is highly valued in engineering. Our four deserving winners were awarded gift vouchers for their impressive contributions. Previous Art Under the Stairs competitions have featured themes such as designing future autonomous vehicles, celebrating World Photography Day, and capturing summer inspirations. Fun fact: The character we now know as Mario made his first appearance in 1981 in a game called Donkey Kong, created by Nintendo.
Imagination Spreads Easter Joy to Children's Charity We’re proud to share that Imagination has donated 86 Easter eggs to PlaySkill, a wonderful local children's charity based near our headquarters in the UK. This donation was made possible through the combined efforts of our amazing employees and the company itself. PlaySkill is dedicated to supporting children with physical delays and disabilities, along with their families, in Hertfordshire. We are proud to contribute to their mission and bring smiles to the faces of these incredible children. Thank you to everyone who participated in this initiative.
Celebrating Excellence at the 2025 Imagination Awards Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting the 2025 Imagination Awards ceremony at Imagination’s HQ in Kings Langley, where we celebrated the outstanding achievements of our colleagues. It was truly inspiring to hear the stories behind their selections and to see the passion and dedication that drives our team. We were thrilled to have a fantastic turnout, both in person and online, as we came together to honour our winners. The event was a testament to the incredible engineering talent and hard work within our organisation. Imagination’s 2024/2025 India CSR Donation As part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, Imagination has donated INR 2,005,000 (£18,915) to three impactful charities near our India offices. 💙 Sanmati Bal Niketan, Pune – Providing food, shelter, education, and care for 55 orphaned boys. 👵 HelpAge India, Hyderabad – Funding cataract surgeries and disability aids for elderly individuals. 💧 Biome Trust, Bangalore – Supporting rainwater harvesting and WASH initiatives for a government hostel. Imagination Unveils IMG DXTP GPU IP for Enhanced Efficiency Imagination has announced the IMG DXTP GPU IP, the latest addition to its D-Series line-up, designed to deliver up to 20% improved power efficiency for graphics and compute workloads on smartphones and other power-constrained devices. With performance capabilities of up to 64 GPixel/s, 2 TFLOPS FP32, and 8 TOPS INT8, DXTP supports secure GPU multitasking and simultaneous graphics and compute operations with minimal overhead. Leading companies like Zelos have already licensed DXTP for mobile and automotive applications, leveraging its AI acceleration capabilities. Supported by Imagination’s software ecosystem, including optimised OpenCL™ compute libraries and PowerVR developer tools, DXTP ensures high performance for gaming and AI-driven applications. This release marks the final product in Imagination’s D-Series GPU family, complementing the IMG DXD for desktops and IMG DXS for automotive safety-critical systems.
