Our team joined Australian cricket legend Steve Waugh to create a new safety video promoting the importance of hand safety. With 66 per cent of injuries at InfraBuild being hand-related, it’s an important and essential message we all need to take onboard. The theme of our campaign for National Safe Work Month is ‘In safe hands’, which is also a nod to when a cricket fielder takes a brilliant catch. The video also parallels how cricketers wear gloves to protect them from fast-paced ball deliveries and lethal bouncers, just like our team needs to use the right type of hand protection to protect them from safety incidents.
