With this year’s Dive In Festival now concluded, here’s a recap of some amazing events from yesterday: In Australia, Alen Sinanovic joined an interactive session on Unlocking the Power of Intergenerational Inclusion. The panel delved into overcoming biases and leveraging diverse age groups in the workplace, providing practical tools to drive inclusivity and innovation. In Peru, Maria Fernanda Corrochano took part in a discussion on promoting Caring Cultures in the workplace. The session explored how companies can support employees with caregiving responsibilities through flexible work arrangements and resources, fostering an inclusive environment that values caregivers. Although Dive In 2024 has wrapped up, these insightful conversations will continue to shape more inclusive and supportive work cultures. It’s been an incredible week of learning and inspiration!
As we near the end of Dive In Festival 2024, here is a recap of some incredible events from the past couple of days: In Denmark, Partner Heidi Bloch participated in a discussion to highlight how motivating employees is key to retaining and attracting talent. In Ireland, HR Manager Aisling O'Doherty sat with a panel of experts, sharing daily support strategies to help insurance professionals prioritize mental health in the workplace. In Singapore, Partner Tristan Thompson sat on a panel to discuss the importance of building resilient mental wellbeing for a sustainable future. In Hong Kong, Partner Joanie Ko and Of Counsel Vienne Cheung joined AIG to discuss how employees, caring for both children and aging parents, can balance parental responsibilities and career development. It’s been great to see so many powerful conversations and ideas shared throughout the festival, with more still to come!

It was great to attend this year’s Bright Network Festival at the Queen Elizabeth Centre in London. We had the pleasure of hosting four talented students as part of our summer scheme placement across our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. From shadowing our lawyers to learning about networking and how to make a successful trainee application, the students were able to get a taste of life at a global law firm.
