Created in 2018 within Station F, the world’s largest startup campus, La Maison des Startups LVMH embodies the Group’s objective to work closely with the entrepreneurial ecosystem in order to stimulate innovation across its Maisons and shape the future of luxury. Last April, La Maison des Startups LVMH welcomed 25 new members and the Demo Day gave them a chance to present the added value of their solutions to the Group’s Maisons through a series of pitch sessions and demonstrations. Since the creation of La Maison des Startups LVMH, over 160 collaborations have been initiated, such as Sephora with Replika, Bvlgari with Tapbuy, Kenzo with Facil’iti and Clos19 with Livstick. The LVMH Group is pleased to welcome Corey Smith as Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion in North America. Highly experienced D&I leader, Corey Smith joins LVMH from Major League Baseball. He will lead ongoing expansion of the Group’s initiatives in recruitment and development and help foster an inclusive culture for LVMH North American talents. This recruitment follows the appointment of Hayden Majajas as Global Head of D&I, LVMH, in June 2019, and is part of a worldwide Diversity & Inclusion strategy conducted by Chantal Gaemperle, EVP of Human Resources & Synergies and Executive Committee member, LVMH. Since the very beginning of the public health crisis, the Group and its Maisons have deployed an array of resources and efforts to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic, and intend to remain mobilized for as long as is needed. In the US, LVMH Maisons started a partnership with Honey Shine to support communities who have been disproportionately impacted by Covid-19. Founded in 2002 by Tracy Wilson Mourning, Honey Shine Inc. is an association which aims to encourage the balance of mind, body and soul of girls and young women from at risk communities, by providing nurturing experiences that empower their future. LVMH supported Honey Shine with multiple products donations as well as career and education support. An LVMH Live Chat was organized for all students: a 60-min unfiltered discussion with Avril Noon, GM Canada, Louis Vuitton, to engage with students and remind them that brought together, our differences make us stronger, and that excellence is about inclusion.
