Laurels Peak Rehabilitation Center in Mankato, MN, absolutely 𝗡𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗧 with their hashtag#CNAWeek party decor (see pics). The National Association of Health Care Assistants (NAHCA, aka the CNA Association), chose "𝙒𝙚'𝙡𝙡 𝘽𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙔𝙤𝙪" as the theme for this year's Certified Nursing Assistant Week, a play on the theme song from popular '90s and early '00s sitcom, Friends (I know you're all hearing it in your head right now; you're welcome)! 🎵 It's a brilliant pick for the theme because CNAs are literally the ones who are there for residents 24/7 and often develop some of the strongest friendships with residents. 🤗🧡 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧! Even the giftwrap is on-theme! This is what having fun and going above and beyond to celebrate your CNAs looks like! Had to share!

Here's proof that laughter remains one of the best medicines! Residents at Laurels Edge in Mankato, Minnesota found some afternoon fun in a game of Balloon Toss on Saturday. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make us laugh the hardest. Really, though - laughter improves blood vessel function, releases endorphins, and reduces stress, which can in turn lower blood pressure. 😆😂 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮! 😆😂

March 13th Was National DTR/RD Day, and to celebrate our team went out for lunch and then battled it out at Gameshow Battle Rooms! The competition between team "Type A" and "The Squashers" was real, but ultimately team "Type A" came from behind to take the lead and win the battle over a game of giant flip cup!
