We’re proud to share that Mount Carmel East opened a new hybrid operating room in January, expanding our ability to deliver the most advanced heart and vascular care to our community. 💙 This specialized OR is designed to support complex structural heart and endovascular procedures, including valve repair and minimally invasive vascular interventions. With enhanced imaging and flexibility, our physicians can precisely visualize critical anatomy and provide patients with cutting‑edge therapies closer to home. We are grateful for the exceptional Mount Carmel caregivers who will use this space to save lives and improve outcomes for years to come. This milestone reflects our continued commitment to advanced, compassionate care for central Ohio.

Last month, our Mount Carmel Health System injury prevention coordinator was thrilled to join the Columbus State Community College Community Health Fair, presented by the college of nursing. During the fair, attendees received hands-on education, empowering them to identify and treat life-threatening bleeding using pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with CSCC to make our local community safer and healthier!
