Another annual confined space training is in the books at shop 622 in Fort Worth, TX! We had the privilege of hosting the local fire department and their feedback was phenomenal. They commended QC’s preparedness and praised our hands-on approach while providing instructions on what the fire department needs from QC in the event of an emergency. It's great to know that we're setting the standard for emergency responses in Fort Worth. A big thank you to all involved for making it a valuable experience!

Meet Kerry, a dry bulk professional driver who has been with QC for 14 years! Kerry was inspired by his uncle, a truck driver for over 40 years, to start his own journey in the industry. He completed a course at L.C.C.C. and started his career in trucking to support his family. Kerry's dedication and hard work have earned him an impressive record of over a million accident-free miles and thousands of safe deliveries with an incredible CSA score (a long-term measurement of driver safety) of 0. We are proud to have him on our team!
In 1993, Sean Shubert began his trucking journey by driving vans. Over the years, he gained experience with Tanker and Hazmat, eventually pursuing his own container truck through a lease purchase program. When a friend recommended Quality Carriers to him, Sean decided to give it a try. QC’s lease purchase program was too good to pass up. While Sean acknowledges that a lease purchase may not be for everyone, he encourages others to give it a try as it can lead to a successful career. With retirement on the horizon, Sean plans on finishing out his trucking career with Quality Carriers. Congratulations on three decades of trucking excellence, Sean! Meet Byron Jackson, a Navy veteran who started his trucking career driving flatbed trucks in the military. Over 5 years with QC, he's gone from a company driver, to an independent contractor, and now to a fleet owner! Meet Doreen Miranda, Border Operations Rep and this week’s QC Women Wednesday highlight. We want to take a moment to recognize and appreciate Doreen Miranda for her outstanding 14 years of dedication and hard work at QC! Starting in Accounts Receivable, she now thrives in the Border Ops Department and ensures seamless shipments to Mexico. Doreen enjoys working with terminals at the border and our counterpart company in Mexico. Handling Mexican-bound loads with ease, Doreen is fluent in English and Spanish; she’s a valuable teammate who always goes above and beyond! Thank you for everything you do, Doreen!
