Starting as an officer, his over thirty-year security career has encompassed diverse roles across various companies. Since joining Sunstates in 2010, his roles expanded from VP to COO and now CEO, a testament to his hard work. At Sunstates Security, our commitment to hands-on leadership and continuous improvement is evident in our quarterly leadership meetings. These gatherings bring together supervisors, operations managers, and other regional leaders to discuss best practices, review new protocols, and foster collaborative problem-solving. Recently, our Central Region convened in Nashville or online, where over 65 leaders from 12 states participated in dynamic discussions. This extensive turnout highlights the dedication to shared learning and regional cohesion. VP of Regional Operations Jeff Sisson and Regional Manager Vincent Gaetano led discussions on key topics. In Raleigh, local leadership gatherings also exemplify commitment. At a recent supervisor meeting, we proudly recognized numerous individuals with at least five years of tenure, a testament to their dedication and experience within the company (seen standing in the second photo). A huge congrats to our Supervisor of the Year winners! At our annual leadership conference, we proudly present the Supervisor of the Year award to outstanding individuals whose exceptional dedication and performance have made significant contributions to their local team and our company. This year, Phillip Curran of the Dallas region accepted the award. Phillip was honored for his exemplary leadership, most notably demonstrated during the catastrophic fire at a key client site. His composed and decisive actions in coordinating the emergency response ensured the safety of all involved and minimized operational disruption, showcasing remarkable resilience under immense pressure. Beyond his exceptional crisis management, Phillip led a 19-member team through a complex SMARRT deployment. His outstanding organizational and leadership skills ensured the project remained on schedule and achieved all objectives. He balanced individual team member needs with the drive for collective success, all while cultivating a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
