Women deserve advocates who can support them in living long, healthy lives. That’s why one of Thirty Madison’s top priorities for 2024 is broadening access to more comprehensive care options for women under Nurx. We are connecting patients to the first over-the-counter birth control in the U.S., expanding our mental health offerings, and treating women across a spectrum of healthcare needs. When I take a step back from our business, I see plenty of additional opportunities for us to continue to support women. I shared my thoughts with MedCity News, where I call out three key steps we can take to make progress: (1) closing research gaps that have made the male body the default standard; (2) going beyond traditional options with telemedicine and asynchronous care delivery; and (3) bringing the public and private sector together to deliver innovation for women. I’d love to hear from friends and colleagues: What are the steps you think we need to take to improve access to care for women and commit to sustained progress for the long haul? https://lnkd.in/ebDkW_Uw
