As summer winds down, what better way to give back than helping children in need get ready for the new school year? Torchy's Tacos Annual Conference: Miami Edition What an unforgettable week. Once a year, Torchy's brings Operations, HQ Team Members, and Suppliers together for a few days of fun and networking. We dove deep into powerful discussions on resilience and leadership, sparking new ideas and strengthening our commitment to excellence. ⭐TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT⭐ Jennifer Seidner, VP of People, joined Torchy’s Tacos in 2019. Initially focusing on People Development, her role then expanded to spearhead the People Team. Jennifer is committed to driving initiatives across Diversity and Inclusion, Recruiting, Total Rewards, Talent Management, Training and Development, Communications and Guest Relations. Jennifer's upbringing instilled in her the value of hard work and diverse perspectives, driving her passion for inclusion and being present. She believes effective HR leadership involves navigating the gray areas and balancing human needs with financial imperatives. She says the authentic culture and leadership team at Torchy’s make every day rewarding – there is no greater factor in career satisfaction than being able to trust and feel connected to the people with whom you work. Prior to Torchy’s, Jennifer worked her way up at Walmart over the span of 21 years, transitioning from a Sales Floor Associate to Corporate Leadership roles. Torchy’s Tacos is honored to have Jennifer and so many other incredible women who inspire us every day with their resilience, dedication, and leadership.
