2 weeks ago, we paid a visit to Granger Medical Clinic and Ogden Clinic to celebrate five years of partnership! Fun fact: these two were the first to bring evolvedMD to Utah, and we couldn't be prouder of our collective impact on patients, their families, PCPs and staff! To every provider, support staff, and collaborative care champion, thank you for being part of this life-changing journey. On top of in-house clinical supervision and continuing education opportunities, we committed to providing world-class training in a way that's never been done before in behavioral health. So, we developed the Collaborative Care Leadership Development Program (CCLDP), the industry's first and most comprehensive integrated care curriculum. Two years down, 48 hours' worth of training, elevated clinical skills, and a deeper understanding of the business side of behavioral health, join us in congratulating our second graduating cohort!
Throughout history, LGBTQIA+ individuals were wrongly categorized with mental illnesses. In fact, homosexuality wasn't removed from the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) until 1973. That harmful stigma caused lasting trauma for many in the community. Today, we honor that history by fighting for acceptance and supporting everyone in the clinics we serve with equitable and evidence-based Collaborative Care.
